From Stanley Guest House you can take a 3 minute drive to visit the National Trust operated Highfield House, a setting of the recent Hollywood blockbuster 'The Light Between Oceans', or a 2 minute stroll to the historic town centre to experience cafes, gift shops and restaurants. Stroll a little further to ride the Nut chairlift or walk the 10 to 20 minutes to the top for a 360 degree view from the various lookouts. In the evening another short stroll will take you to see the Little Penguins at dusk. A 1 minute drive to the regions working wharf where Crayfish, Octopus and Abalone are brought ashore, guests can take a boat tour to see fur seals, or take a look at the local sea life at the Stanley Sea Aquarium. Stanley is on the edge of the World Heritage significant Tarkine Wilderness, the home of many rare species. There are also many beaches to enjoy.
